Main aim: To empower single parents by fostering their active participation, facilitating their transition to the labor market, and ensuring equal opportunities and access to formal and non-formal education. Additionally, the aim is to develop flexible and practical solutions (outputs and activities) that can be readily adapted and implemented in various national contexts, beyond those of the partner countries.
Objectives:
- Empower Single Parents: Provide single parents with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to enhance their employability, financial stability, and personal development. Foster entrepreneurial, digital, and career-related competencies to support their transition into the labor market.
- Enhance the Capacity of Adult Educators: Train adult educators to effectively support single parents in career counseling, financial literacy, and employability. Equip them with flexible and adaptable tools to provide continuous guidance and coaching.
- Develop Flexible and Adaptable Solutions for Single Parents: Create a mobile application integrating best practices and support mechanisms tailored to single parents. Develop a comprehensive toolkit to provide practical strategies for organizations and policymakers.
- Promote Cross-Cultural Learning and International Cooperation: Share and implement best practices from partner organizations to provide diverse learning experiences. Facilitate knowledge exchange through international training sessions and local workshops.
- Ensure Sustainability and Dissemination of Project Outcomes: Disseminate the project’s results through newsletters, events, and a final conference. Encourage the adoption of the project’s outputs in other organizations and national contexts.
Activities:
International Training in Portugal | March 2026
An international training was organised in Funchal, Madeira (Portugal) from March 24 to 27, 2026, bringing together 12 participants from partner countries. The training focused on developing competences in entrepreneurship, digital skills, and employability, particularly for single parents, through interactive workshops and practical activities in a supportive, child-friendly environment. Participants explored key challenges faced by single parents in the job market and developed practical solutions for career and business development. The programme also included team-building and reflection activities that strengthened cooperation, confidence, and personal growth.

Development of Educational Tools and Resources
Partners collaborate on the creation of a mobile application and a best-practices-based toolkit. These resources are designed to support single parents and educators by providing guidance, training materials, and practical tools for personal and professional development.
International Training in Spain | June 2026
A second international training will take place in Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain) from June 2 to 7, 2026. The training will focus on career counselling, coaching, financial literacy, and micro-financing tools. Participants will strengthen their competences and gain practical methods to support single parents in employment and entrepreneurship pathways.
Local Trainings in Partner Countries | 2025–2026
Local training sessions are implemented in each partner country, where participants apply and share best practices developed during international activities. These sessions focus on supporting single parents in skills development, employability, and social inclusion.
Final Conference in Lithuania | 2026
The project concludes with a final meeting and public conference in Lithuania, where project results, tools, and outcomes are presented. The event brings together 40 participants, stakeholders, and the wider community to share experiences and discuss future actions.
