Main Aim:
to enhance the digital skills and professional competencies of youth workers by equipping them with AI tools that can be integrated into non-formal education. The project particularly focuses on promoting the digital well-being of marginalized youth, especially those who spend excessive time on the internet and screens. The key outcome will be a series of short, informative videos sharing the insights and methods developed, providing a valuable resource for educators and professionals.
Objectives:
- Introduce AI tools to help youth workers recognize and support young people with internet, gaming, and social media addictions.
- Improve the digital skills of youth workers to develop educational materials that promote the well-being of young people.
- Equip youth workers with AI tools to create engaging and impactful digital content.
- Strengthen the professional capabilities of youth workers in integrating AI tools into their work to better support marginalized youth.
Activities:
Training Course in Vilnius, Lithuania | September 2025
The first international training in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 2-9 September 2025, brought together 28 youth workers from Lithuania, Poland, Italy, and Turkey, including participants from disadvantaged backgrounds. The training focused on using AI tools to recognize and address digital addiction and promote digital well-being. Participants took part in hands-on workshops, case studies, and interactive sessions, exploring topics such as identifying addictive online behaviours, digital detox strategies, and mental health. They also developed practical outputs, including presentations, case studies, videos, and visual materials.

Training Course in Izmir, Turkey | 14-19 April 2026
The second international training in İzmir, Tukey on 14-19 April 2026, will focus on AI-powered digital content creation and the integration of AI into youth work. 28 participants will engage in practical workshops on content creation, collaborative digital projects, storytelling, and the use of AI tools in education. The training will also cover AI ethics, best practices, and innovative methods for engaging young people through digital media and non-formal learning approaches.
Development of Digital Outputs and Toolkit
Throughout the project, participants contribute to the creation of educational materials and digital resources. These include presentations, case studies, daily reflection videos, infographics, and social media content focused on digital well-being, AI use, and youth engagement. All outputs are collected and structured as part of the project’s digital toolkit, providing practical resources for youth workers and educators.
Dissemination and Impact Activities
Project results are shared through dissemination activities, including social media content, workshops, and community engagement. The materials created during the trainings contribute to raising awareness about digital well-being, responsible AI use, and support for young people facing digital challenges.
Results and Impact:
The project delivered the training of at least 28 youth workers, including 12 from disadvantaged backgrounds, through two international workshops that provide over 50 hours of practical and theoretical sessions across two 6-day programs. It produced at least eight short, informative videos on AI tools and methodologies and creates ten sets of educational materials focused on digital well-being and addiction prevention for youth workers and educators. Additionally, four partner organizations from Lithuania, Italy, Turkey, and Poland integrated AI tools into their work, reaching and benefiting approximately 400 young people through local dissemination activities.
This project is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, supporting education, training, youth, and sports initiatives across Europe.
