Main aim: to raise awareness about the discrimination faced by migrants and refugees while promoting social inclusion. Through the creation of music videos and posters for social media platforms, the project aligns with the priorities of Erasmus+ by emphasizing digital skills, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion. By engaging adults as the target group, the project aims to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity, leading to more inclusive societies.

Objectives:

  1. Raise awareness: Increase knowledge and understanding among the target groups about the discrimination faced by migrants and refugees, highlighting the importance of social inclusion and fostering empathy.
  2. Promote social inclusion: Encourage dialogue, interaction, and collaboration between migrants/refugees and the host communities, promoting mutual understanding and acceptance.
  3. Enhance digital skills: Develop digital media literacy and production skills among participants to effectively create and disseminate music videos and posters on social media platforms.
  4. Advocate for policy changes: Influence policymakers and decision-makers by sharing project outcomes and recommendations to address discrimination and promote social inclusion in relevant policies and practices.

Activities:

Kick-off Meeting in Lithuania | March 2024

The project started with a kick-off meeting in Lithuania on March 18, 2024, bringing together 6 participants from France, Türkiye, and Lithuania. Partners gathered to define the project objectives, timeline, and responsibilities. During the meeting, participants discussed key challenges related to digital inclusion and migrants, set deadlines, and planned the implementation of project activities.

Needs Assessment and Survey | Spring 2024

A comprehensive needs assessment was conducted with 15 participants through pre- and post-surveys among participants to identify key challenges, misconceptions, and attitudes towards migrants and refugees. The results highlighted gaps in digital skills, awareness, and confidence in discussing social inclusion topics, which helped shape the content of the workshops and training activities.

Storytelling Workshops in France | July 2024

International storytelling workshops took place in Strasbourg, France from July 24 to 27, 2024, bringing together 15 participants from partner organisations. During the workshops, participants explored personal narratives related to migration and social inclusion. Through interactive sessions, they learned storytelling techniques, conducted interviews with local communities, and developed impactful stories addressing stereotypes and social challenges. The workshops also included collaboration with professionals working in the field of migration.

Video Production and Graphic Design Training in Türkiye | November 2024

A training activity in Türkiye took place in Serik-Antalya from November 16 to 21, 2024, bringing together 19 participants. The training focused on developing participants’ digital storytelling skills through video production and graphic design. Participants engaged in hands-on activities such as creating digital stories, designing social media posters, and learning tools like Canva. The training also covered social media strategies and content creation for awareness campaigns.

Social Media Campaign | April-May 2025

A multilingual social media campaign was implemented from April to May 2025 to raise awareness about discrimination against migrants and refugees and promote social inclusion. The campaign included posts, stories, videos, and testimonies shared across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, reaching thousands of users and engaging audiences across multiple countries.

Final Conference in Lithuania | May 2025

The project concluded with a final conference in Lithuania on May 19th, 2025, bringing together 101 participants, where partners presented project results, shared experiences, and discussed the impact of the activities.
